چکیده

A study was carried out to evaluate the effect of replacing maize with sorghum and supplementation enzymes, on growth laying performance chickens. Four hundred fifty 12-weeks old Lohmann Brown pullets were distributed randomly into six dietary treatments three replicates per treatment, each replicate had 25 birds uniform group weights at initial stage study. The included without enzymes (T1) (T2) as two controls respectively, while T3, T4, T5, T6 contained based diets phytase, protease, roxazyme G2G, a combination protease G2G respectively. experiment lasted from 12 32 weeks age during which data collected early egg birds. Data obtained subjected analysis variance, using completely randomized design (CRD). Significant differences among treatment means compared Tukey test. (p<0.05) noted in final weight (g/bird), gain daily total feed intake (g/bird/day), ratio. Final significantly better for T4 (sorghum + protease) other treatments, but similar T1 (control). At stage, no definite trend observed production traits. However, supplemented phytase (T3) highest numerical values for; first (54.28g), number eggs peak lay (24.00), hen house 78.84%, day production, 81.09%. It concluded therefore, that supplementations can be used layers' optimum production. is recommended 0.02% incorporated type chickens performance.

Performance and Egg Quality of Laying Hens Fed Diets Supplemented with Herbal Extracts and Flaxseed

In this experiment, the effects of fennel and thyme extracts with and without flaxseed were investigated on performance and egg quality of Leghorn-type laying hens (Hy-Line W-36). 200 laying hens from 26 to 38 weeks of age were assigned to five dietary treatments with five replications. The treatment groups were: 1) Control (a diet without any additives); 2) control diet plus fennel (40 mg/kg f...

Response of Broiler Chickens to Triticale-Based Diets Supplemented with Microbial Enzymes (1. Growth and Intestinal Function)

A total of 384 day-old male Ross 308 broiler chicks were allocated to 8 dietary treatments to examine the influence of supplementation with xylanase and phytase, individually or in combination, in diets based on two new cultivars of triticale (Bogong and Canobolas). The inclusion of phytase alone in either Bogong or Canobolas diets increased (P < 0.01) feed intake and body weight; however, the ...

Laying performance and eggshell quality in laying hens fed diets supplemented with prebiotics and organic acids

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of organic acids and the prebiotic fructans on egg production and eggshell quality when added to the layer diet with different levels of calcium and phosphorus. The experiment was carried out on 168 Bovans Brown hens, allocated to 14 groups of 12 replications. Each hen (replication) was kept in an individual cage 40 cm × 40 cm in size. A 2 × 7 fac...

Objective: The effect of xylanase and fructooligosaccharides on broiler chickens body weight, feed conversion (kg feed/kg weight), caecal volatile fatty acids (VFA) concentration and glycolytic enzymes activity was investigated. Methods: Six hundred birds were divided into three groups and for 35 days were fed basal diet (control) and diets contained 0.1% xylanase and 2% fructooligosaccharides ...
